Vault’s flagship RSH wellhead system is engineered to cover nearly every onshore drilling scenario. Whether you need a single- or multi-bowl wellhead (2-4 casing string designs plus liner), 5K or 10K, drilling through a riser or rotary, or prefer fluted or solid body mandrel hangers, the RSH is designed to give you complete control over each step of the drilling process.

The system’s versatility allows for seen and unseen changing variables experienced during drilling without costly wellhead or equipment changes. Features include improved riser connectors, quick-connect BOP Drilling adapters and TA-Caps, rotatable hangers, no LDS (lock-down screw) lock ring packoff design, offline cementing capability, API flange connections, and more. Vault RSH-RT Hangers

Vault’s patented RSH-RT casing hangers are the premier choice in available casing hangers, with torque capacities greater than any premium casing thread currently available. When drilling long horizontals or tight holes or rotating during cement circulation operations for improved cement bonding, use the RSH-RT casing hanger’s right-hand torque and rotational capabilities to complete the job successfully.

Save time safely making up and testing the RSH-RT running tool and casing hanger on the pipe rack. Freely use a top-drive CRT or casing crew to make up the casing string without any additional costly wellhead tools. RSH-RT hangers are available for most production casing sizes and thread options. Additionally, RSH-RT surface casing hangers are now available.  Our new RSH-2-SCH wellhead system utilizes the same design and technology to land surface casing. Save additional cost utilizing our pin-bottom mandrel hanger option eliminating the need for pup joints and bucking charges (box-bottom hangers are available when preferred). 

Vault’s energized lock ring packoff design omits the need for casing head lockdown screws (LDS), removing dangerous wellhead leak paths and accidental packoff releases resulting from human error.  The RSH lock ring design also allows the packoff to be fully installed or removed from the wellhead on the rig floor, reducing cost while improving safety and minimizing installation time, NPT, and work in the cellar.  All RSH production casing hanger packoffs include a BPV prep and are available for mandrel and slip-style casing hangers, allowing for consistent post-drill wellhead operations when contingency equipment is required during drilling operations. 

RSH Lock Ring Packoffs

Conventional Wellhead Systems

Conventional wellhead casing suspension, and pressure containment systems for drilling casing, intermediate, and production strings. Wellhead components accept standard nominal size wear bushings and test plugs, and are available in a full range of pressure ratings, trims, PSL, and PR requirements, with mandrel hangers, automatic slips, manual slip-style hangers, and secondary seals configurable for varying string requirements.

Quick-connect BOP Drilling Adapters and TA Caps

Vault’s USC-1 BOP Drilling Adapters and QDC TA Caps allow you to move well to well, and safely and efficiently attach to the wellhead, reducing NPT during costly rig moves in batch drill and pad change scenarios. The USC-1 and QDC TA Cap utilize Vault’s RSH wellhead adapter hub, creating a strong metal-to-metal seal pressure control while increasing bend strength and mitigating potential damage to the casing heads API flange thread connection. API flange connection options are available when preferred.  When regulatory controls allow, a BOP adapter o-ring testable seal is now available for 11-5M RSH wellheads. 

RSH Offline Cement

By adding offline cementing operations, you can improve drilling efficiency and reduce NPT. Our offline cement tool options allow you to safely skid the rig and move on to the next well while maintaining wellhead pressure control when cementing surface, intermediate, and production casings, saving precious and price-sensitive rig time.     

RSH Integral Packoff Hangers

Vault's  Internal Packoff (IP) intermediate and Solid Body Rotating Production Mandrel Casing hangers are your solutions when a two-piece design is not optimal for your operations. Our internal packoffs allow you to land and lock in your hanger and a packoff in a single run using Vault’s patented packoff lock ring technology. Additionally, Like our industry-proven RT hangers, our Rotating Solid Mandrel Hangers allow you to rotate the string with high torque capacity when landing in long laterals, tight holes or when rotating is required during cementing operations.  

RSH-2-SCH Wellhead System Features

Experience the next generation of the RSH wellhead family. Simpler, faster, safer installs. Our surface casing hanger speedhead system eliminates casing head installation during riser/diverter operations and includes an improved riser connector with a testable seal and reduced diverter size capability. Our fully pre-assembled and tested casing head is made up on location without studs, nuts, or hydraulic torque wrenches required and improves well-life longevity with a metal-to-metal seal surface connection.
